Mo Team Engineer Scoops Innovation Award

It’s official, I have a blog and I know how to use it.
MO Team engineer Gary McLean has recently been awarded award by the University of Ulster for his work developing the revolutionary 4 finger lifting mechanism that allows 25 small objects systematically stacked and moved during manufacturing.
The Modex is 3.2 times faster than conventional dual gripper automation and can handle objects with an inside diameter of 15mm, 16mm, 20mm and 25mm. It was designed to minimise object damage, increase yields in manufacturing, reduce factory operating costs and increase production speed.
Speaking after collecting his award Gary this award by the University of Ulster and proud to have my work recognised”.
Robert Moran, MO Team SAI Managing Director, said: "Since Gary developed the Modex we have been able to secure the Global Patent for the product cementing our place as a global innovator in the manufacturing world".
